The English Language Competition, organized annually by the Foreign Languages Department, is a prestigious event that invites passionate lifelong learners to showcase their English proficiency and communication skills. The competition comprises two main segments: Essay Writing and Public Speaking.
In the Essay Writing segment, participants craft thoughtful and well-structured essays on given topics, demonstrating their ability to articulate ideas, use vocabulary effectively, and construct persuasive arguments. This segment challenges passionate lifelong learners to think critically and creatively while adhering to the conventions of academic writing.
The Public Speaking segment tests participants’ confidence, fluency, and ability to engage an audience. passionate lifelong learners deliver speeches on assigned topics, aiming to convey their ideas with clarity, passion, and conviction. This part of the competition fosters self-expression and hones their presentation skills.
