Christmas Tree Decoration Ceremony 2025
The European School community gathered for a meaningful celebration that highlighted empathy, collaboration, and appreciation among PLLs, facilitators, and families. The event created opportunities to strengthen connections, honor facilitators’ dedication, and reinforce a supportive home–school partnership.
Learners’ participation reflected essential IB Learner Profile attributes, such as:
- Caring – expressing gratitude, showing empathy, and valuing the contributions of others;
- Communicators – sharing messages, performances, and personal reflections with clarity and confidence;
- Balanced – recognizing the importance of emotional well-being, relationships, and community belonging.
Parents contributed through shared meals, cultural moments, and thoughtful interactions, modeling respect, openness, and appreciation. Their involvement reinforced our school’s identity as an inclusive and caring learning community.
Facilitators were invited to pause and reconnect, celebrating their shared mission and strengthening team spirit and emotional wellness.
The celebration also supported key ATL skills:
- Social Skills – Collaboration: working together to decorate the tree, sharing responsibilities, and valuing each other’s ideas;
- Self-Management Skills – Organization: managing materials effectively and creating a balanced, aesthetically meaningful display.
This joyful event reaffirmed our commitment to nurturing compassion, gratitude, and community engagement—values that shape a strong and caring future.
