Pearson platform

Since 2018, European School has adapted the iPrimary curriculum designed by Pearson. The iPrimary includes Science, Mathematics and Bug club for English.

The online Active Learn Primary Platform provides both facilitators as well as learners with immense resources.

The passionate lifelong learners can access their own profile where they can find the resources, online books the facilitators sent them.

The platform helps facilitators to create and navigate their passionate lifelong learners' groups, the facilitators can make use of online interactive resources and track passionate lifelong learners’ progress.

In addition, the passionate lifelong learners get rewards in the form of coins which they can use to purchase different activities on the platform. This has proven to create motivation and more engagement.

iPRIMARY

SCIENCE​

Science Bug includes different aspects of science according to the year group. The main advantages of science by Pearson are that passionate lifelong learners learn things by doing practical hands-on activities, doing their own small research about everyday items.

Mathematics

Mathematics which is aimed at helping passionate lifelong learners understand different math concepts, learning simple math formulas and making more real-life based inquiries. There are numerous resources, games and activities that will guide the learning process.

BUG CLUB

All the books have integration with other school subjects, such as science, history as well as art.

All the books are divided into different categories according to year group as well as the level of the passionate lifelong learners.

Year 1-3 books include the READ TO ME interactive button which helps passionate lifelong learners in their reading journey.

All Active Learn bugs: Science, Mathematics and Bug Club for English are aimed at creating more autonomous and independent learners.
Having a partnership with Pearson also provides an opportunity for the school staff to get both online as well as offline annual professional development sessions which help them navigate their lessons more efficiently.
