The effectiveness of the educational process greatly depends on the collaboration between facilitators and parents, enabling a better understanding of the child and their characteristics. Positive outcomes of this cooperation include the child’s active involvement in learning and their perception of education as engaging and effective, rather than tedious. To nurture the child’s educational motivation and engagement through facilitators-parent relationships, certain steps are necessary.

  • Establishing educational objectives tailored to the passionate lifelong learners: Collaborate with the child and set educational goals at home, considering their preferences, such as opportunities for relaxation and leisure time.
  • Serve as a role model for the child, particularly during their early school years when parental influence on attitudes toward schooling is significant. It’s crucial to set a positive example for the child and approach problem-solving without judgmental attitudes, fostering open discussions to address any issues that arise.
  • Provide encouragement to the child: It’s highly beneficial to periodically praise the child for their academic achievements.
  • Stand by the child’s side and assist them in overcoming challenges encountered during the educational journey, while also maintaining collaboration between parents and facilitators.
