History Facilitator
Job Description
The History Teacher will teach at the middle school of the “European School in Armenia” Foundation. The candidate will participate in general activities, including the localization of relevant subject and interdisciplinary curricula, and the development and implementation of thematic units with colleagues. The teacher will operate based on student-centered learning principles, recognizing the unique characteristics and interests of each learner to organize educational activities focused on the student’s harmonious development.
Job Functions/Requirements
In-depth mastery of the subject matter.
1+ years of professional experience in teaching History.
Knowledge of national educational standards, program requirements, and content.
Proficiency in subject teaching and assessment methodologies.
Skillful application of pedagogical and psychological approaches.
Essential Skills
Ability to select and apply teaching technologies and methods tailored to various learning styles and educational needs.
Ability to analyze and evaluate situations and provide appropriate feedback.
Teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with students and colleagues.
Willingness to embrace, learn, and implement the school’s philosophy, requirements, and other innovative ideas.
Readiness to read, communicate, and/or improve skills in English or other foreign languages.
