Job Description

The Science Teacher will teach at the Middle School of the “European School in Armenia” Foundation. The specialist will participate in general operations, localize relevant subject and interdisciplinary curricula, and develop and implement thematic units in cooperation with colleagues. The activities will be carried out based on the principles of student-centered learning; the teacher identifies the characteristics and interests of each learner and organizes educational activities aimed at the harmonious development of each student.

Job Functions/Requirements

• In-depth mastery of the subject matter.

• Hold a qualification and professional teaching experience in mathematics/science subjects.

• Knowledge of national educational standards, program requirements, and content.

• Proficiency in subject teaching and assessment methodologies.

• Skillful application of pedagogical and psychological approaches.

Essential Skills

• Ability to select and apply teaching technologies and methods tailored to various learning styles and educational needs.

• Ability to analyze and evaluate situations and provide appropriate feedback.

• Teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with students and colleagues.

• Willingness to embrace, learn, and implement the school’s philosophy, requirements, and other innovative ideas.

• Possess a high level of proficiency to communicate and teach fluently in English.
