Job Description

The “European School in Armenia” Foundation is seeking a qualified Art Teacher who can teach in English.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Art lessons in accordance with the school curriculum

• Introduce students to different art forms, techniques, and methods of creative expression

• Develop students’ creativity, imagination, and self-expression skills

• Organize individual and group creative activities

• Support students in expressing their ideas through a variety of artistic media

• Assess students’ participation, progress, and creative development

• Use teaching materials, tools, and creative resources effectively

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inspiring classroom environment

• Collaborate with other teachers and members of the school’s academic team

• Participate in the organization of school exhibitions, creative projects, and cultural events

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant higher education and/or teaching qualification in Art, Fine Arts, Design, or a related field

• Previous teaching experience

• Strong creative and artistic thinking skills

• Ability to work effectively with children and support their creative development

• Effective classroom management skills

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of English proficiency, with the ability to communicate and teach confidently in English
