Job Description

The “European School in Armenia” Foundation is seeking a qualified Physical Education Teacher who can teach in English.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Physical Education lessons in accordance with the school curriculum

• Organize age-appropriate sports activities and physical exercises based on students’ abilities and fitness levels

• Monitor and record students’ participation, progress, and physical development

• Ensure students’ safety during lessons and promote compliance with safety rules

• Use sports equipment and teaching materials effectively

• Encourage a healthy lifestyle, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship

• Collaborate with teachers and other members of the school’s academic team

• Participate in the organization of school sports events, competitions, and related activities

• Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the Physical Education programme

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant degree and/or teaching qualification in Physical Education, Sports, or a related field

• Previous teaching experience

• Ability to work effectively with children and motivate students

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High level of English proficiency, with the ability to communicate and teach confidently in English

• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to safety
